Digitization poses a variety of challenges to companies around the world, including complex legal and regulatory issues such as occupational and data protection, compliance, and IT security. To help address this issue, lawpilots offers companies practical online courses which train employees and managers in dealing with sensitive data and provide them with legally solid recommendations for action. Having successfully entered the American market as a participant in the German Accelerator program, the training provider is now looking to expand its e-learning courses (already available in over 30 language and country versions) into Southeast Asia.
lawpilots already offers online training courses in a large number of language and country versions, including Mandarin and Vietnamese. We are currently working on further versions for the wider Asian region. Having previously supported us with US market expansion, the German Accelerator is now helping us with the next step to gain a foothold in the Asian market.”
The German Accelerator is a mentoring program financed by the Federal Ministry of Economics (BMWi) that helps German startups establish themselves on other continents. The program offers participants intensive coaching as well as access to a global business network and investors. In addition to unlocking this know-how, office space is also made available to participants to help them expand. Participants in the program are matched with resources according to their individual strengths and weaknesses in order to make the best possible use of their potential.
The international program has helped more than 300 startups since 2012, with 92% of the startups established in their new target markets. Participating companies such as lawpilots earn their place by pitching to a committee of investors and entrepreneurs.
